On the 16th of September 2010, Redefine Magic hosted Shoot Ogawa’s lecture here in Singapore, held at Roland Restaurant. This is his second lecture conducted here, and it attracted well over 45 participants. In this lecture, Shoot featured his latest close up material, including magic with cards, coins as well as new moves and concepts with his famous ninja rings.

On the 4th of December 2009, Redefine Magic hosted its second major magic convention, “Redefine Magic: The Gathering”, held at The Substation. One of the few conventions to be organised locally, it saw an attendance of over 70 participants, including both magicians from Singapore as well as Malaysia. Headlining this convention was special guest performer and lecturer, Paul Romhany from New Zealand.
6 dealer booths, with dealers from Singapore, UK as well as New Zealand were present. Performers included Paul Romhany, who opened the event presenting his signature Chaplin act. Nique Tan presented his first ever One Man Mentalism Show, Master Card Man Sharkey Chong shared his special tips and insights on various gambling techniques and of course Paul Romhany, who delivered a fantastic lecture on material for both close up and stage work.
The evening closed with a gala show performed by Sherman Tang, Alex Tan, Frankie Yeo as well as Jeremy Pei.

On the 1st of May 2008, Redefine Magic hosted its first ever magic convention, “Redefine Magic: The Gathering”, held at the Garden Hotel. As a first major convention, this one day event attracted over 90 attendees. There were 7 dealer booths, with dealers from Singapore, Hong Kong and Iran. The program included 2 magic workshops conducted by Nique Tan and Jeremy Pei, and a magic lecture by visiting Hong Kong magician Richard Mo. Hosted by Alex Tan, the event closed with a Gala Show featuring Jeremy Pei, Nique Tan, Priscilla Khong and Richard Mo.

On the 25th of March 2007, Redefine Magic hosted a lecture by Internationally Acclaimed Illusionist Magic Fukai, held at The Substation. One of his stops in his 2007 Lecture Tour, this event attracted well over 50 attendees. Fukai shared magic for both close up and stage performances during the lecture, and also a special interview segment was done. Some rare performance videos was also shared that night.

On the 30th of August 2006, Redefine Magic hosted its first International Magic Lecture by Japan’s top sleight of hand magician, Shoot Ogawa, held at the Bayview hotel. The event attracted over 80 participants, and Shoot generously shared a variety of material including magic for close up and stage performances, creating a new trend in sleight of hand magic.
